Objectives of the blog throughout the project
- We chose this topic to expose everything we found and as an objective to make the person who reads it take a position for or against
- to show the consequences caused by the cultural clash between the Incas and the Spaniards.
- The radicalization of the customs and beliefs of our ancestors by the Spaniards.
- How this change persists to this day in our present society, regarding language, religion and customs.
- See how Peru has changed positively and negatively
Vision:
- We have an objective vision about this, we do not write any nationalist opinion in this blog to make it more formal and precise.
The Spanish conquest of Peru in the 16th century profoundly impacted the country's cultural landscape. Before the arrival of the Spanish, Peru was home to various indigenous cultures, each with their own customs, beliefs, and traditions. However, after the conquest, the Spanish imposed their own cultural norms and values on the indigenous population, resulting in a complex and frequent interaction between the two cultures. This profoundly impacted the indigenous population, many of whom were forced to abandon their traditional religious practices and adopt the Catholic faith.
In addition to religion, the Spanish also brought their own language, customs, and social hierarchy. All these cultural changes remain to this day.
